The Dazed Minded are a female-led four-piece garage rock band from Reading, proudly reviving the 2000s indie sleaze spirit for a new decade. Fronted by songwriter Beth (Lilac) and bassist Tam, the band draw influence from Miles Kane, Kings of Leon, and Razorlight, blending fuzzy Britpop guitars with raw garage energy. After forming late last year, they quickly gained traction with a live session featuring debut single Oh Boy and a cover of Gasoline, which was reposted by the original band. With Hannah (drums) and Alex (guitar) completing the lineup, The Dazed Minded are stepping into the live scene with headline shows, support slots (including Currls), and in-store sessions—positioning themselves as a fast-rising grassroots act.
“Going Home” leans into the band’s emotional core, pairing fuzzy guitars and driving rhythms with a sense of late-night reflection. The track captures that familiar indie sleaze tension—between wanting escape and craving connection—delivered with honesty and bite. “Going Home” feels intimate yet urgent, a snapshot of youthful uncertainty wrapped in garage-rock swagger, and a strong indicator of The Dazed Minded’s growing confidence and direction.
