Reflect - Listen

REFLECT are a five-piece alt-rock band formed in early 2025 in Belfast. Made up of Tay Layno (vocals), Flann Falconer (guitar), Thomas O’Leary (guitar), Noah Kelly (drums), and Lorcán Zepf (bass), the band have wasted no time making noise.

Their explosive debut single “Wasting My Time” quickly became a local anthem — regularly played at Belfast Giants games in the SSE Arena — while earning RTÉ 2FM’s Grassroots Song of the Week even before its official release. From there, Artist Spotlight features, Best Debut accolades, and sold-out hometown shows followed. With major festival slots like Stendhal under their belt and a debut EP Feeling Everything on the way, REFLECT are moving fast.

“Listen” channels the band’s anthemic edge into something direct and emotionally charged. Built around driving guitars and punchy rhythms, the track carries the same high-impact energy that defined their debut — but with a sharper sense of purpose.

The vocal delivery feels commanding, almost confrontational — a demand rather than a suggestion. There’s tension in the verses that explodes into a chorus built for live rooms and raised hands. REFLECT lean into that stadium-ready alt-rock dynamic while keeping enough grit to avoid sounding polished for the sake of it.

It’s urgent, loud, and unapologetically bold.

Northern Ireland’s rock scene continues to produce bands with serious crossover potential, and REFLECT are emerging as one of its most talked-about new names. Early radio backing, sold-out launch gigs, and support slots with internationally touring acts have amplified their trajectory.

“Listen” lands at a moment when guitar-driven anthems are regaining mainstream momentum. With emotionally direct songwriting and a live presence already turning heads, REFLECT feel poised for a bigger stage.

For a band formed in 2025, the growth has been rapid — but “Listen” suggests they’re only just getting started.
