Destroy Boys - Hysteria

Destroy Boys Turn Genre-Blending Punk Into a Masterclass in Unapologetic Edge
Born out of DIY shows in Sacramento when founders Alexia Roditis and Vi Mayugba were just 15, Destroy Boys have evolved into an international powerhouse opening for rock royalty like Blink-182 and Pierce the Veil. Their fifth album, FOIE GRAS, feels like the definitive culmination of that decade-long journey—bigger, stranger, and profoundly more confident. Released as part of this ambitious new era, “Hysteria” captures the band's signature restless energy while refusing to stay confined within traditional punk boundaries.
When Post-Punk Grit Meets Unpredictable Sonic Experimentation
Produced by Zach Tuch with additional contributions from Frank Iero, the track pushes sonic boundaries by weaving together elements of grunge, pop, and post-punk tension. The instrumentation hits with razor-sharp precision, building an intense, driving atmosphere that keeps listeners on edge. It tackles the friction of modern psychological overwhelm head-on, flipping internal chaos into a soaring, high-octane statement of artistic freedom.
Why It's Catching Fire: Fearless Songwriting With Unfiltered Attitude
What makes the release stick is how it weaponizes raw punk roots to explore complex, unpredictable musical textures without losing a single ounce of its ferocious punch. It proves that growing as a band doesn't mean watering down your intensity; instead, it means giving yourself permission to follow every instinct. Destroy Boys are carving out an untouchable lane where uncompromising grit meets expansive sonic ambition, making emotional turmoil sound like the most thrilling ride of your year.
