Elsie Lange is a folk-pop singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Before embarking on her solo career, she was the frontwoman of the garage-pop band pting and also performed live with Elizabeth. Her musical influences include artists such as Nick Cave, The Kinks, Angel Olsen, and Nina Simone. In 2025, she made the decision to return to her hometown of Alice Springs.

Her song "Heatwave" is her first single of 2025, released around March 19, 2025. The accompanying music video for "Heatwave" was directed by Eremaya Albrecht and was filmed in Alice Springs, on the Ilparpa range. This song is featured on Elsie Lange's forthcoming album, "The Normal Discontents of Living," which is set to be released on May 2nd via Wing Sing Records.
