Arcane Moon are an original indie rock band from Essex, UK, formed in March 2024. Drawing influence from R.E.M., Radiohead, and The Police, the quartet blend soulful melodies with intricate grooves and introspective lyricism. Their sound bridges the gap between classic British alternative and modern emotional rock — textured, thoughtful, and timeless.

The band — Josh (guitar/vocals), Matt (drums), Joe (bass), and Scott (keyboards/vocals) — have quickly made their mark, earning the 2025 ‘New Band’ Award at the annual NMG Awards and building momentum through a string of festival performances. Following the success of their debut single “Three Little Words” (September 2024), which gained over 1,500 radio plays worldwide, and follow-ups “Echoes” and the Ellipsis EP, Arcane Moon have cemented themselves as one of the most promising new voices in UK indie rock.

“The Hour Glass” — the title track from Arcane Moon’s forthcoming debut album — is a sweeping reflection on time, growth, and the fragility of human connection. Built on rich harmonies, dynamic instrumentation, and emotive lyricism, the song captures the band’s ability to balance vulnerability with confidence. It’s a meditation on moments slipping away — and a reminder that every ending carries the potential for renewal.

With “The Hour Glass”, Arcane Moon don’t just announce their arrival; they deliver a deeply felt statement of purpose — poetic, powerful, and beautifully human.
