Bottlemoth is a UK indie-folk five-piece formed in early 2024 by former members of Bridges. Drawing influence from Frightened Rabbit, Manchester Orchestra, The Wonder Years, and The Gaslight Anthem, they blend heartfelt lyricism with soaring guitars and subtle alt-country tones. Though new, they’ve already played major festivals like Glastonbury and Isle of Wight, and supported acts including The Dangerous Summer and Cold Years.
The song "Landslides (People Change)" is a standout track that perfectly encapsulates the band's style. The lyrics are a raw and honest look at the inevitable shifts in relationships and personal growth. The song's title itself, "Landslides," is a powerful metaphor for the dramatic and often unpredictable way people's lives and priorities can change. The lyrics explore the difficult realization that the people you once knew so well might become strangers, and the bittersweet acceptance of that change.
