PVA is an acclaimed London-based three-piece defined by their unique, uncompromising blend of electronic music, post-punk, and dance rhythms. The trio—comprised of Ella Harris and Josh Baxter (sharing vocals, synths, and production) and drummer Louis Satchell—earned their reputation in the vibrant South London scene alongside peers like black midi and Squid. They initially built a cult following based almost entirely on their electrifying, boundary-pushing live shows, where they spontaneously merge electronic hardware with raw human instinct. Their debut album, Blush (2022), solidified their reputation for "frenetic electro-chaos" and industrial-sized beats, earning them significant recognition, including a Grammy nomination for Mura Masa's remix of their breakthrough single, "Talks." Their highly anticipated second album, No More Like This (set for release on January 23rd), marks an ambitious new era that sees the band moving into more intimate, experimental, and emotionally charged territory, shifting from pure chaos to sonic alchemy.

"Enough" is a single from PVA's upcoming second album, No More Like This, and perfectly embodies their new, more introspective sound. The track is described as a "dark, lustrous dance of limerence," exploring the vulnerability and push-and-pull of desire and connection. It marks an experimental shift for the band, featuring members swapping instruments (Josh on drums, Louis on synth, Ella on bass) and formally introducing the bass guitar into their sonic palette. The song is built around a distorted, hypnotic bass loop that was originally written by Ella Harris in a basement, giving it a raw, mechanical pulse. Lyrically, "Enough" is a dancefloor confessional, exploring the fear of emotional honesty and keeping one's eyes open through the intense, intoxicating experience of desire. The track and its accompanying self-directed, VHS-styled video are described as being simultaneously scary, sexy, and dark, cementing the band's evolution into a more human, but mechanically precise, musical entity.
