Emma Tea is a self-taught, London-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist creating emotionally honest dark alt-pop infused with subtle liquid drum and bass textures. Her sound blends intimate storytelling, soft yet haunting vocals and genre-blurring production that feels both raw and carefully refined.
She has been championed by BBC Introducing, earning Artist of the Week on BBC Introducing Three Counties & Northamptonshire, alongside Song of the Week recognition and multiple on-air plays. Tastemaker Jodie Bryant from New Music Monday at The Ned praised Emma’s evolving sound, highlighting how she has “found her sound with hints of different genres amongst her delicate and haunting vocal.” Influenced by Ellie Goulding, Kenya Grace and Billie Eilish, Emma has independently released 16 singles and a small EP, steadily building a dedicated and authentic fanbase. In October 2025, she sold out her first headline show at The Grace in London and is currently preparing her first full EP.
“Lose My Mind” captures Emma Tea’s signature blend of vulnerability and atmospheric production. The track explores emotional overwhelm and the fragile line between intensity and instability, pairing introspective lyrics with layered electronic textures and subtle DnB undercurrents.
Her soft, close-to-the-mic vocal delivery creates an intimate listening experience, while the production gradually builds, giving the song a sense of movement without overpowering its emotional core. “Lose My Mind” reflects Emma’s growing confidence in her sound, balancing delicate storytelling with contemporary alt-pop depth, and reinforcing her position as an emerging voice in the UK’s darker pop landscape.
