VLURE is a visceral and electrifying five-piece band from Glasgow, Scotland, known for breaking boundaries in the post-punk and electronic music scenes. Composed of Hamish Hutcheson (vocals), Alex Pearson (vocals & synths), Conor Goldie (programming, production, guitar), Niall Goldie (guitar & bass), and Carlo Kriekaard (drums), they fuse abrasive post-punk chaos with the euphoria of club music.

VLURE's sound is impossible to categorize but unforgettable to witness, blending elements from UK rave, trance, happy hardcore, and leftfield pop, all packaged in a punk-laced wrapper. They are celebrated for their explosive, cathartic, and intensely energetic live shows, where frontman Hamish Hutcheson often gets intimately close with the crowd. Signed to Music For Nations, VLURE has garnered significant acclaim, winning "Best Live Act" at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards in 2023 and "Electronic & Dance Live Artist of the Year" at the 2024 Scottish Live Music Awards.

"Something Real" is a track from VLURE's highly anticipated debut album, "Escalate," which is scheduled for release on September 26, 2025, via Music For Nations. This particular track features a collaboration with Psweatpants.

The album "discusses themes of coming of age, finding yourself, love, partying and youthful abandon, but also the heavier side of that; grief, nostalgia, addiction, recklessness and knowing when to hold your mates close." Given the title, "Something Real" likely delves into the quest for authenticity and genuine connection amidst these experiences. It may explore the yearning for a true, tangible experience or emotion in a world that can often feel superficial or overwhelming.
