SPRINTS are a fiery four-piece post-punk/noise rock band hailing from Dublin, Ireland. The band comprises Karla Chubb (vocals/guitar), Colm O'Reilly (guitar), Sam McCann (bass), and Jack Callan (drums). They've rapidly emerged as one of the most exciting and vital acts from the Irish music scene.

Known for their raw, visceral energy and no-holds-barred approach, SPRINTS channel the spirit of bands like Savages, IDLES, and Fontaines D.C. Their sound is characterized by abrasive guitar riffs, pounding rhythms, and Karla Chubb's powerful, often guttural, vocals. Lyrically, they delve into themes of anxiety, identity, modern societal pressures, and the frustrations of navigating a chaotic world, all delivered with brutal honesty and punk urgency. They've earned critical acclaim for their intense live performances and their highly anticipated debut album, Letter To Self, released in January 2024 via City Slang, which solidified their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

"Rage" is a new single by SPRINTS, officially released today, July 25, 2025. It is the latest offering from the band, following their critically acclaimed debut album.

Lyrically, "Rage" is an explicit exploration of unbridled fury and frustration, as the title directly suggests. Given SPRINTS' propensity for raw and honest songwriting, the track likely channels anger stemming from societal injustices, personal grievances, or the overwhelming pressures of modern life. It's expected to be a cathartic outpouring of intense emotion, reflecting the band's willingness to confront difficult feelings head-on.
