UNIVERSITY is a four-piece band based in Crewe, UK, consisting of Zak Bowker (vocals/guitar), Ewan Barton (bass), Joel Smith (drums), and Eddie (mascot). They describe their music as brutally heavy instrumentation with absurdist humour, resulting in scything yet catchy punk tracks.Their song "Curwen" is a new single released on April 8, 2025, and it will be featured on their debut album, 'McCartney, It'll Be OK', which is scheduled for release on June 20, 2025, via Transgressive Records. The album was recorded with producer Kwes Darko at Damon Albarn's Studio 13 in London and follows their 2023 EP 'Title Track'.
