Sonic Reducer is a four-piece punk band from Canberra, Australia. The lineup consists of Cormac (vocals), Lachlan (drums), Ryleigh (guitar), and Louie (bass). They are renowned for their intense live shows and a sound that artfully blends classic punk energy with a surprising layer of vulnerability. Their music has been described as "2007-style sleaze punk with a dash of Iggy and a sprinkle of David Byrne," creating a unique and compelling auditory experience.

The band's debut EP, SKEWBALL (released in 2024), garnered critical praise and significant airplay on Australia's Triple J. Sonic Reducer has already shared stages with notable acts like Cosmic Psychos and supported Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.
