Absolutely is the professional name of British singer-songwriter Abby-Lynn Keen. Hailing from Tooting, London, she was formerly known as "àB." She is signed to S10 Entertainment and Epic Records. Absolutely is also the sister of renowned artist Raye.
Her musical style blends R&B, pop, and EDM. She is known for her introspective songwriting and powerful vocals. Absolutely released her debut album, Cerebrum, on November 17, 2023. She has also had success as a songwriter for other artists before rebranding and releasing her own music. She has been on tour, including supporting alt-pop musician Banks in North America.
"Goodbye Glitter" is a new single by Absolutely, officially released on June 13, 2025, via Epic Records. It is her first solo single since the release of her debut album, Cerebrum.
Lyrically, "Goodbye Glitter" is a deeply personal and reflective song. Absolutely has stated that the song began with a piano melody written years ago by her father, Paul Keen, who is also credited as a co-composer and lyricist on the track (alongside Abby-Lynn Keen and Floyd Nathaniel Hills). She described it as a "wonderland of a song, a Tim Burton odyssey, hauntingly beautiful and moving," feeling "magical" and making her "inner child feel so seen."
Interpretations of the lyrics suggest themes of transformation, eternal life, and letting go of earthly things to embrace something more enduring. Some listeners perceive it as a faith-based song about giving up worldly attachments for something eternal.
