Fountain are a garage rock powerhouse from Northampton, England, bringing raw energy and attitude back to British rock. Formed in 2023, the band features frontman Jordan Noon (formerly of Parliaments) and drummer Ally Wilkinson, whose thunderous chemistry drives Fountain’s explosive sound — a fusion of garage rock, grunge, classic rock, and indie swagger.

Their rise has been fast and fiery. With multiple BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 features, Fountain’s debut EP Stolen Flowers Bring Sickness earned them widespread radio support, ‘Track of the Week’ placements, and a sold-out debut headline show. In 2024, they followed with their second EP, Talking to Ghosts, released to critical acclaim and capped by their raucous ‘Let’s Go On F****n’ Tour, Tour’, taking their frenetic live show to crowds across the UK and beyond — including a headline slot in Poitiers, France.

“Son of a Gun” is a snarling, swaggering statement of intent — all fuzzed-out guitars, punchy drums, and untamed rock’n’roll energy. It channels the restless spirit of rebellion and grit that defines Fountain’s sound, with Noon’s raw vocals cutting through like a live wire. The song captures the urgency of youth, defiance, and identity, wrapped in a sound that feels both timeless and dangerous.

With “Son of a Gun”, Fountain prove once again that the British garage rock scene is alive, loud, and very much theirs to lead.
