Peace Okezie, known as Master Peace, is a British musician from South East London. He is a truly unique and "genre-fluid" artist, blending raucous indie, punk energy, rap-rooted realism, and pop sensibilities into a constantly evolving sound that defies easy categorization. His musical upbringing was a "cultural collision," spanning indie discos, grime cyphers, and FIFA soundtracks, leading him to create a new wave sound that is equal parts chaos and clarity.

Master Peace emerged into the scene with early collaborations with artists like Jme and The Streets. His 2024 debut album, How To Make A Master Peace, received critical acclaim and earned him a prestigious Ivor Novello Rising Star award. This was followed by the EP, How To Make A(nuva) Master Peace. Beyond his music, Master Peace is a passionate advocate for accessible live music, launching the 'There's No More Underground' initiative to support grassroots venues with £5 shows and free track downloads. He cites influences ranging from The Smiths and The 1975 to Santigold, M.I.A., and even Calvin Harris and Ke$ha, showcasing his incredibly broad and eclectic taste.

"Harley" is the brand-new single from Master Peace, officially released on July 17, 2025. It marks a significant collaboration with Dan Carey, the renowned producer behind acts like Wet Leg and Fontaines D.C., working as part of the cult Speedy Wunderground label's Speedy Single Series. The track will also be available as a limited edition double A-side 7" single on August 7, 2025, paired with an upcoming single "Shake Me Down."

Lyrically, "Harley" is presented as an energetic, sharp, and personality-filled anthem that encapsulates everything that has made Master Peace one of the most exciting voices in today's indie-sleaze resurgence. While specific lyrical details aren't provided, the song is described as playful yet punchy, opening the door to a new chapter for the artist "charged with urgency, purpose, and creative growth." It's intended to be a light start to a new musical era before the release of his next album.
