In a future society, fetuses are genetically screened for the management of childbirth. Mary, who struggled to conceive, receives the unexpected result that her fetus carries genes associated with criminality. Forced into confinement and pressured to undergo an abortion, she meets Eve, who conversely, has been coerced into giving birth. What choices will these two women make for each other? This thought-provoking film raises significant topics, such as the dignity of life and women’s rights regarding abortion.
