Music of the Day: Samfire - Possible Stranger

London singer, songwriter and producer Samfire draws from the more contemplative side of pop music, introspective yet uplifting. Raised by a mother who worked in the classical music industry, she was filled with a love for harmonies and rich epic sounds from an early age. This translates beautifully in the music that she makes now. After honing her Ableton production skills during the lockdowns of the pandemic, Samfire began songwriting as an introspective exercise. By doing so, her creativity has proven to be a hugely cathartic practice, feeding her imagination and satisfying the inner daydreamer. For her listeners, Samfire's music purposefully provokes their thoughts and moves them to feel new extremes of emotion.
