Music of the Day: Justify your Venom - DISASTER

Justify your Venom are an alternative rock band from Milan, fusing elements of rock/metal with experimental and electronic sounds. They were founded in 2016 by Slay (vocals, lead guitar) joined by Mark (bassist, backing vocals), Gab (rhythm guitar) and Rick (Drums) bringing together musicians from the underground Milan/Rome metal/rock scene. The band released their first EP "JYV" in June 2016, produced by the band and Matteo Magni at the Magnitude Recording Studio. A music video for the song "Cry Me a River" was released on youtube in 2017, followed by a live video for another track from the EP, "Run to Survive", and in 2018 a lyric video for the song "Rise". During 2017, the band played shows in Northern Italy to promote its first EP. The band returned to the studio last year to work on some new material. 2023 promises to be an exciting year for JYV!
