Music of the Day: FloodHounds - Quicksand

Known for their blasts of stomping fuzzed-up indie guitar, savage riffs and hook-heavy choruses; Yorkshire’s FloodHounds deliver tight rabble-rousing live shows; bursting with startlingly jagged guitar, driving bass and wild rhythmic drums. Lyrically catchy, the Indie rock trio’s powerful punk-infused and darkly melodic tunes, stay with you long after the gig.

FloodHounds’ previous single 'Psychosemantics’ premiered on BBC Introducing Sheffield and scored numerous Track of The Week spots on radio and playlists and landed coveted spots on Editorial playlists such as Apple Music's All New Rock. Psychosemantics led to the band being chosen out of over 1.5k bands across the country to perform on the BBCIntroducing curated Library Stage at Tramlines Festival 2023 and winning a slot out of 550 bands to play at the Cavern Club Liverpool and then Lakefest on the Amped Stage.
