Like a coherent puzzle that would be exploding with colours, "Fragments" - the last EP of the Belgian band Alterlight - is not to be considered as the classic first step towards an album.
As an original work in its own right, reflecting the influences and musical journeys of a group marked as much by the alternative rock of the Nineties (Weezer, Placebo, Muse...) as by the sounds of the 2000s (Coldplay, Linkin Park, BMTH,...), the six tracks of the record are conceived like six invitations to crystallise, in one’s own personal musical kaleidoscope, six snapshots of life.
