Young British band The Kites hail from Yorkshire. Brothers Joe (Singer) + Ollie (Drummer) met Jake (Guitarist) at secondary school. Through a shared passion for songwriting the line-up was complete when they met Elodie (Bassist) at a songwriter camp and formed The Kites.
Now all studying in Leeds their shared musical experience of playing in school Battle-of-the-Band nights + open-mic sessions has helped carve out their sound into what it is today. Punchy indie pop guitars meet hook laden generational lyrics, creating a sound that is as sky high in ambition as the band’s name suggests.
