Naarm scrap-rock scumbags, Coolabah Kings burst onto the scene in September 2021 with their debut single, ‘Spineless'. This tongue-in-cheek retelling of a true story takes listeners on a journey to the wrong side of the tracks. 'Spineless' found its place on 'A Long Time Alone 4’, a compilation produced by Blow Blood Records. The album received recognition as Album of the Week by 3RRR in February 2022. Coolabah Kings continued their momentum in March 2022 with the release of their debut EP, 'Killing Time’. This 5-song time capsule was recorded during the peaks of COVID lockdowns, capturing a unique moment in time. Closing out 2022, Coolabah Kings unveiled the single 'Monday Morning’, a jangly, fuzzy pop banger delving into the drudgery of the working week and the haunting paranoia of wasted youth. Marking their entry into 2023, Coolabah Kings launched their single 'Stay Dangerous’, a rambunctious toe-tapper that explores the rapid disconnect with a self-destructive friend.
