Brought together in 2015 in a basement not unlike most others in the student neighborhood of Allston, MA, Beef has had plenty of inspiration to draw from within Boston’s rich music scene over the years. The quartet channels the college rock traditions of the ‘80s and ‘90s while balancing infectious hooks, anthemic energy, and pensive meditations on twenty-something existential snags.
