A young and talented sailor, Lena learns with amazement that her father, a fisherman in the North Sea, has disappeared during an outing under mysterious circumstances. Persistent rumors accuse the man, also captain of the boat, of being at the origin of the accident which led to its loss. However, Lena refuses to believe this version, convinced that her father, an experienced sailor, cannot be involved in any false fatal maneuver. Despite her doubts, she cannot persuade those around her. She then decides to embark on her own investigation. Quickly, Lena discovers worrying clues.
