A passionate drama based on true events where a fiery love affair leads to unexpected consequences. The main character is Karin Stolpe and her complicated relationships. The film tells about her comprehensive relationship with her husband Sven Stolpe and her passionate love affair with Olof Lagercrantz that starts in the 1930s and how her choices affected the future generations. Directed by internationally acclaimed director Björn Runge (The Wife, 2017) and based on the book by Alex Schulman’s success novel of the same name. The main international stars of the film are Bill Skarsgård (It: Chapter 1 & 2, 2019), Asta Kamma August (The Pact, 2021), and Gustav Lindh (Riders of Justice, 2021).
