According to the nomadic bauryna salu tradition, Yersultan is entrusted to his grandmother as soon as he is born. The child leads a very difficult childhood between the salt mine and his grandmother's humble house with the constant dream of reuniting with his father and mother. But when his grandmother dies, Yersultan, now a teenager, will have to face another trauma: fitting into the family unit of the parents he barely knows.
